Hi, I don’t know who will see this. We’ve been on hiatus for a while on WordPress. But in case anyone is interested, Clonehenge wants to let you know that it still has a presence both on Mastodon, although that one isn’t very active, and on BlueSky where we check in at least once a day and post and reblog henges fairly often.
Recently on BlueSky for example we’ve reblogged a sconehenge, a pizza box henge, a cardboard henge, a biscuithenge as well as larger ones like the Hemsby mini golf henge and the excellent pink granite henge in Esperance, West Australia. There’s always more to come with over 100 large permanent replicas all over the world and people constantly getting it into their heads to make Stonehenges of any unlikely items (as well as the usuals like cheese and biscuits and chips and Jenga and Catan, etc., the list goes on.)
Follow us in either or both those places and tag us when you post your henges!* We’ll be looking for you. Let’s make the internet stupid fun again!
*Just give Spinal Tap a rest, ok?! Everybody’s seen it already. 😅
I am still lamenting the the disappearance of the Renton WA Clonehenge in the traffic circle in the business park. There are the forlorn looking footprints where this intriguing monument once stood…
File it under:
“Don’t bother looking for it , it ain’t around here no more not anyways anyhow…;”
YAY!
